Chickpea Millet Medley

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ Cup cooked Kodo or Proso Millet
  • 1 Cup Boiled Chickpeas
  • 1 Onion Diced
  • ½ Tomato Diced
  • 2-3 Cloves of Garlic – Minced
  • ½ Capsicum Diced
  • ½ Cup Cabbage finely Chopped
  • Handful of fresh green peas ( Boiled)
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilli powder to taste
  • 2 Tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 2 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • Coriander for Garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet heat the oil and add the cumin – let it crackle
  • Add the onions and let them cook – Once they are transparent add capsicum and cabbage and let it cook until tender.
  • Add the tomatoes and boiled green peas and mix well
  • Drizzle a little water and add the spices – Finally add the cooked millet and chickpeas
  • Garnish with coriander and its ready to serve.
