Chickpea Millet Medley
Ingredients
- ¾ Cup cooked Kodo or Proso Millet
- 1 Cup Boiled Chickpeas
- 1 Onion Diced
- ½ Tomato Diced
- 2-3 Cloves of Garlic – Minced
- ½ Capsicum Diced
- ½ Cup Cabbage finely Chopped
- Handful of fresh green peas ( Boiled)
- Salt to taste
- Red Chilli powder to taste
- 2 Tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
- 2 Tsp Cumin
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- Coriander for Garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet heat the oil and add the cumin – let it crackle
- Add the onions and let them cook – Once they are transparent add capsicum and cabbage and let it cook until tender.
- Add the tomatoes and boiled green peas and mix well
- Drizzle a little water and add the spices – Finally add the cooked millet and chickpeas
- Garnish with coriander and its ready to serve.
