  • 1 Cup Urad and Chana Dal Mix Soaked Overnight
  • 3/4 Cup Rice Soaked Overnight
  • 1 Tsp Ginger
  • Salt to Taste
  • Red Chilli to Taste
  • 1/2 Tsp Asafoetida
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Green Chilly Finely Chopped
  • 2 Tsp Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Grounded Pepper


  • Serve Hot with Tomato Chutney.


  1. Grind all the ingredients except onions and chillies together to form a coarse batter and leave it aside for an hour.
  2. Using a hot skillet spread a dosa and cook on low flame.
  3. Sprinkle the Onion and chilli on it and serve.
