Black Bean Soup

- 1 Onion - Chopped
- 1 Tomato - Chopped
- 1 Carrot - Diced
- 1 Cup Chopped Celery Stalk
- 2 Cup Boiled Black Beans
- 1 Cup Green Beans
- 1/2 Cup American Corn
- 2 Cups Tomato Puree
- 3-4 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 Tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 Tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 Tsp Jaggery
- Salt to Taste
ReplacementsBlack Beans - Rajma
- Heat Oil in a large pot and saute the onion and garlic.
- Add Celery, carrots, green beans , corn and the spices.
- Add 3 cups of Water and Bring it to a boil.
- Add 1 Cup Black beans and 2 cups tomato puree .
- Grind 1 cup Black beans to a paste and stir it into the boiling mixture.
- Simmer for 15 minutes over low flame and serve piping hot.
